According to a 2022 policy research report by the World Bank and UNICEF, approximately 5.14 million Filipino children live in extreme poverty. Low household income remains a key driver of child labor. To support their families, many children either drop out of school or divide their time between work and school.

Daisee is a collaboration with local Filipino schools and students. We travel round the country, talking to teachers, students and parents. We learn their stories, daily struggles and ambitions. Artworks from students will be featured on a seasonal basis. Our vision is to share their stories. Showcasing their dreams and ambitions.

Shirts will be released on a seasonal basis, in limited quantities. We will be giving back to these communities to make their lives a tad better. Bringing their dreams a little closer.

Our Story

Growing up as a single mum is a challenging yet fulfilling journey.

Hardship, perseverance and thinking out-of-the-box are some traits I've picked up through the years.

I've experienced having nothing and doing whatever it takes to put food on the table.

There are so many more families in the Philippines living life below the poverty line. But, the beauty of the Filipino culture is about resourcefulness and grit.

We, as Filipinos make do with what we have and maintain a positive attitude in life.

We put on a smile everyday and hope that you will too!
